Business “bright spots” for Allied harvest of 2020

1. Ammonium Sulfate :

　　In 2020, Allied Harvest completed around 500,000MT of trade in Ammonium Sulfate, with a ratio of 70% : 30% Compact to Standard Ammonium Sulfate. We are proud to call ourselves the exclusive sale agent of Do First, which, with our promotion, since 2018 has become one of the most popular brands in Brazil. Additionally, Allied Harvest has become one of the largest Ammonium Sulfate suppliers in Brazil.

Our last vessel of 2020 sailed towards Paranagua, Brazil, loaded with 44,000mt of DO First Ammonium Sulfate. At the same time, two more of our vessels, each loaded with 50,000MT, smoothly discharged at Brazil.

2. Specialty Fertilizer

　　The Allied Harvest specialty team has had a very successful 2020, having sold close to 20,000MT of all types of water-soluble fertilizers and moved over 1000TEU of product.Ourspeciality products consist of Calcium Ammonium Nitrate, Calcium Ammonium with Boron, Calcium Chloride Dihydrate, TMAP, MKP, Potassium Nitrate, Potassium Sulfate and, Magnesium fertilizer.

Our specialty fertilizer department appreciates the constant support from both new and old clients. As we enter the new year Allied Harvest will continue to strive for excellence, providing all of our clients with improved services and platforms for our mutual growth.

3. Sulfuric Acid　　

Our long-term business strategy is to develop and expand into the trade of a variety of raw materials, whilst maintaining and strengthening the main business of international fertiliser trade.

This is exemplified by the shipment of 5,200MT of Sulphuric acid carried by MT. Dongjoo Elysia from Putian, Fujian towards Southeast Asia.

Sulfuric acid is one of the major raw materials needed for Ammonium Phosphate production. With the growth of production capacity and output in recent years, the export of Sulfuric acid has become an important outlet for the domestic oversupply in China.

With the start of the Sulfuric acid export, Allied Harvest has increased our product variety to our existing catalogue, which includes Phosphoric acid, Sulfur, and other products.

4. Nitrogen :　　

Due to tensions between China and India in 2020 the total quantity of the Urea trade has drastically reduced, resulting in total sales of only 70,000MT this year. Our main target markets are South Korea and Taiwan, as well as Southeast Asia, Central, and South America. We have also developed our domestic Urea business to the Northeast provinces, shipping 10,000MT of Urea to the port of BaYuQuan.

In 2020 our total trading volume in Ammonium Chloride was at 50,000MT. Our suppliers are largely based in the Yangtze river region and we have maintained stockpiles in a range of ports year round.

We work closely with multiple domestic companies including Linggu Chemical, CNOCC Fudao, China Coal, and SinoAgri. Allied Harvest will continue to stregnthen our cooperation with domestic and foreign suppliers, regional trading parties, production enterprises, and factory partners. Our Nitrogen department will continue to focus on the development of customer relations with both upstream and downstream enterprises.

5. Phosphate & Compound Fertilisers

Our Phosphate & Compound department is located in Yichang city, Hubei province. Our main products consist of NP, NPK, DAP, and MAP.

Hubei’s extensive rock Phosphate reserve has made the province the capital of the Phosphate industry, with many high-quality suppliers located there. The long-term and stable sourcing guarantees a constant supply capacity. In the coming years Allied Harvest will make full use of the specific advantages of the Phosphate stronghold in Hubei, strengthening communications with upstream factories, and developing in cooperation with downstream customers.
